| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Maria Siddeeque of Richmond has ably served her |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Siddeeque has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |

| 11 | 12 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A student at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar |

| 14 | 15 | | Land, Ms. Siddeeque has further distinguished herself by serving as |

| 15 | 16 | | class president in the student council and as president of her local |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Toastmasters International club; moreover, she is involved in the |

| 17 | 18 | | Science National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, PEERS, and An-Nisa, |

| 18 | 19 | | and she has been named a National History Day finalist; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 20 | 21 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
