| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Sebastian Quaid has ably served the people of Texas |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Quaid has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing residents of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A native of Minot, North Dakota, Mr. Quaid attended |

| 14 | 15 | | Texas State University, where he served as chair of the Young |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Conservatives of Texas and later earned a bachelor's degree in |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | political science with a minor in journalism; deeply committed to |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | serving his fellow citizens, he plans to one day run for office; in |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | his leisure time, he enjoys hiking and camping; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Sebastian Quaid has performed his duties as a |

| 20 | 21 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |

| 21 | 22 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Sebastian Quaid for |
