| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jordan Parr has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 7 | 8 | | White during the 87th Legislature; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Parr's resourcefulness and initiative have |

| 9 | 10 | | earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his contributions to |

| 10 | 11 | | carrying forth Representative White's legislative agenda have |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |

| 12 | 13 | | in his role as legislative director, he has focused on policy |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | matters concerning national security and constitutional rights; |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A native of El Paso, Mr. Parr received a dual degree |

| 16 | 17 | | in government and psychology from New Mexico State University; in |

| 17 | 18 | | May 2021, he graduated magna cum laude with a master's degree in |

| 18 | 19 | | public policy from The Bush School of Government and Public Service |

| 19 | 20 | | at Texas A&M University; in recent years, he has worked for members |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | of state and federal delegations in New Mexico and Texas; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |

| 22 | 23 | | duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 23 | 24 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
