45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Jordan Parr has ably served his fellow Texans as
67 legislative director in the office of State Representative James
78 White during the 87th Legislature; and
89 WHEREAS, Mr. Parr's resourcefulness and initiative have
910 earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his contributions to
1011 carrying forth Representative White's legislative agenda have
1112 helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State;
1213 in his role as legislative director, he has focused on policy
1314 matters concerning national security and constitutional rights;
1415 and
1516 WHEREAS, A native of El Paso, Mr. Parr received a dual degree
1617 in government and psychology from New Mexico State University; in
1718 May 2021, he graduated magna cum laude with a master's degree in
1819 public policy from The Bush School of Government and Public Service
1920 at Texas A&M University; in recent years, he has worked for members
2021 of state and federal delegations in New Mexico and Texas; and
2122 WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his
2223 duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is
2324 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
2425 therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2627 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Jordan Parr for his
2728 service as legislative director in the office of State
2829 Representative James White and extend to him sincere best wishes
2930 for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Mr. Parr as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
