| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The retirement of Henry F. Lewczyk Jr. as senior |

| 8 | 9 | | accomplishments; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Since his appointment as senior vice president of |

| 10 | 11 | | the chamber a decade ago, Mr. Lewczyk has overseen member benefits |

| 11 | 12 | | and services and has acted as a liaison between the organization and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | major investors; he has helped to increase the diversity of the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | chamber's membership through the establishment of the Latino |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Business Group and the Asian and Veterans Business Councils, and he |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | has played a vital role in guiding the organization through the |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic; this esteemed |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | professional also benefits his community as a member of the boards |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | of Leadership Arlington and the Junior League of Arlington; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Lewczyk previously served as vice president of |

| 20 | 21 | | marketing for the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America, and |

| 21 | 22 | | for more than 30 years, he enjoyed a successful career in |

| 22 | 23 | | advertising; in addition, he was an adjunct professor at Southern |

| 23 | 24 | | Methodist University; he holds a bachelor's degree from Duquesne |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | University, and he was awarded an honorary MBA by the University of |

| 25 | 26 | | North Texas; and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedication, expertise, and commitment |

| 27 | 28 | | to excellence, Henry Lewczyk has earned the respect and admiration |

| 28 | 29 | | of his colleagues and fellow citizens alike, and his contributions |

| 29 | 30 | | to the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce will continue to |

| 30 | 31 | | resonate in the community for years to come; now, therefore, be it |

| 31 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
