| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert Hebert is being recognized for |

| 6 | 7 | | his many years of public service and for his contributions as the |

| 7 | 8 | | executive director of Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels at the |

| 8 | 9 | | organization's celebratory gala on October 14, 2021; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1974, FBS Meals on Wheels provides |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | nutrition and support services for senior citizens in Fort Bend and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Waller Counties; a longtime supporter of the local nonprofit, Bob |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Hebert was appointed interim chief executive officer in 2019, and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | since that time, he has worked closely with board and staff members, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | civic partners, and volunteers to enhance operational efficiencies |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | in order to meet the needs of the community; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hebert served four terms as Fort Bend County |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | judge, from 2003 through 2018; his exemplary record of public |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | service also includes tenures as temporary receiver for the City of |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Arcola and as city manager of Rosenberg; moreover, he has over 40 |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | years of experience in strategic management and planning, |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | principally through his consulting firm, Robert Hebert and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | Associates; he holds a master's degree in business administration |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | from Pepperdine University and a doctorate in management from |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | California Coast University; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional vision, skill, and |

| 26 | 27 | | leadership, Bob Hebert has rendered invaluable service to his |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | fellow citizens, and his myriad achievements indeed merit special |

| 28 | 29 | | recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 30 | 31 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Robert Hebert for |
