| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A life made rich through meaningful service drew to |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The former Eroletta Spradling was born to Margie and |

| 9 | 10 | | Earl Spradling in Christiansburg, Virginia, on August 13, 1950, and |

| 10 | 11 | | she grew up with the companionship of two siblings, Brenda and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Terry; in 1972, she married Henry Piasczyk, and the couple shared a |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | fulfilling union that spanned nearly half a century; Ms. Piasczyk |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | became the proud mother of two children, Todd and Tasha, and with |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | the passing years, she had the pleasure of seeing her family grow to |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | include two grandsons, Landry and Rhett; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Piasczyk earned a bachelor of science degree |

| 17 | 18 | | from Tennessee Wesleyan University and went on to work in the |

| 18 | 19 | | children's clothing business with her husband for more than 25 |

| 19 | 20 | | years; she later joined the faculty of Christa McAuliffe Learning |

| 20 | 21 | | Center in the Richardson Independent School District, where she |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | taught for nearly two decades; a beloved educator, she was deeply |

| 22 | 23 | | devoted to her students, and her compassionate and gracious nature |

| 23 | 24 | | earned her the esteem of all who were fortunate enough to know her; |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Although Eroletta Piasczyk is deeply missed, the |

| 26 | 27 | | lives of her loved ones, colleagues, and students were forever |

| 27 | 28 | | enriched by the time they spent with her, and she will always hold a |

| 28 | 29 | | treasured place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 30 | 31 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
