| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This prestigious accolade recognizes exemplary K-12 |

| 9 | 10 | | humanities teachers; each honoree is presented with a $5,000 cash |

| 10 | 11 | | prize plus an additional $1,000 to spend on instructional materials |

| 11 | 12 | | for students; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Rios draws on eight years of experience as an |

| 13 | 14 | | educator and has taught reading at Faulk Middle School since 2018; |

| 14 | 15 | | she is highly regarded for her use of technology to develop her |

| 15 | 16 | | students' digital literacy and for designing lessons that bring |

|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Through her dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm, |

| 19 | 20 | | exceptional ability, and she is indeed deserving of this notable |
