| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Educators Rising is a student-led grassroots |

| 10 | 11 | | movement with chapters in every state; by coordinating efforts with |

| 11 | 12 | | state departments of education and local organizations, the |

| 12 | 13 | | initiative is cultivating a new generation of diverse and highly |

| 13 | 14 | | motivated educators by guiding youth toward careers in teaching; in |

| 14 | 15 | | the Lone Star State, Educators Rising is affiliated with the Texas |

| 15 | 16 | | Association of Future Educators, a nonprofit created in 1984 that |

| 16 | 17 | | assists middle school and high school pupils in exploring the |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Joining students from around the country at the |

| 19 | 20 | | national conference, Estrella Hernandez placed third in Impromptu |

| 20 | 21 | | Lesson; this gifted young Texan has benefited from the guidance of |

| 21 | 22 | | teacher leader/advisor Sydney Hernandez; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Estrella Hernandez has demonstrated exemplary skill |
