45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Allison Massengale of Kaufman High School earned
67 great distinction by turning in an exceptional performance at the
78 Educators Rising 2021 National Conference; and
89 WHEREAS, Educators Rising is a student-led grassroots
910 movement with chapters in every state; by coordinating efforts with
1011 state departments of education and local organizations, the
1112 initiative is cultivating a new generation of diverse and highly
1213 motivated educators by guiding youth toward careers in teaching; in
1314 the Lone Star State, Educators Rising is affiliated with the Texas
1415 Association of Future Educators, a nonprofit created in 1984 that
1516 assists middle school and high school pupils in exploring the
1617 teaching profession; and
1718 WHEREAS, Joining students from around the country at the
1819 national conference, Allison Massengale placed third in Lesson
1920 Planning and Delivery -- Arts; this gifted young Texan has
2021 benefited from the guidance of teacher leader/advisor Shellie
2122 Massengale; and
2223 WHEREAS, Allison Massengale has demonstrated exemplary skill
2324 and discipline in preparing for a career in education and may look
2425 ahead to a future that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2627 Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Allison
2728 Massengale on an outstanding performance at the Educators Rising
2829 2021 National Conference and extend sincere best wishes to this
2930 dedicated student for continued success; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Allison Massengale as an expression of high regard by
3233 the Texas House of Representatives.
