| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Andrew Koenig Jr. has ably served his fellow Texans |

| 7 | 8 | | the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Called Sessions of the 87th Legislature; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Koenig has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, |

| 14 | 15 | | Mr. Koenig attends The University of Texas at Austin, where he is |

| 15 | 16 | | pursuing a bachelor's degree in government; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his duties as a |

| 17 | 18 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |

| 18 | 19 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
