| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Eric Augustine Orduna of |

| 6 | 7 | | Houston on October 1, 2021, at the age of 22, has brought an |

| 7 | 8 | | unimaginable loss to those who loved and cherished him; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Eric Orduna was born on July 27, 1999; known for his |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | kind and selfless nature, he was a devoted son to his parents and a |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | caring brother to his siblings; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Mr. Orduna was working as a |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | valet driver at a local sports bar; his future goals included |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | attending Rice University and studying music; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth ended far too |

| 15 | 16 | | soon, Eric Orduna was a source of inspiration to all who knew him, |

| 16 | 17 | | and they will forever carry his memory close in their hearts; now, |

| 17 | 18 | | therefore, be it |

| 18 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 19 | 20 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of |

| 20 | 21 | | Eric Augustine Orduna and extend profound condolences to his |

| 21 | 22 | | relatives and friends; and, be it further |

| 22 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
