 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Rachel Hill of Dallas has distinguished herself
 through her exceptional advocacy work in behalf of LGBTQIA+
 communities in Texas; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Hill serves as a community outreach and
 engagement manager for Equality Texas, a nonprofit organization
 that works to eliminate discrimination targeting lesbian, gay,
 bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans; she has been involved in
 activism at the state level for five years and two legislative
 sessions, and she is committed to increasing understanding of and
 access to the advocacy process; and
 WHEREAS, Before joining Equality Texas, Ms. Hill worked with
 the Dallas Regional Chamber to enhance quality of life and
 opportunity for people throughout the Dallas area; she is an alumna
 of The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a
 bachelor's degree in government and Middle Eastern studies; and
 WHEREAS, Rachel Hill has demonstrated an inspiring
 commitment to the Equality Texas mission of building a society that
 respects the rights of all individuals, and she is to be commended
 for the contributions she has made to this important cause; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor Rachel Hill for her
 service to LGBTQIA+ communities and extend to her sincere best
 wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Hill as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
