| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Lynlie Wallace has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 7 | | chief of staff in the office of State Representative Lyle Larson |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, During her tenure, Ms. Wallace has researched and |

| 9 | 10 | | analyzed legislation, directed its development, and shepherded |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | bills through the legislative process; she has overseen the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | implementation of a strong constituent outreach plan, and her |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | numerous responsibilities have further included authoring |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | correspondence, newsletters, press materials, and bill analyses, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | as well as managing the representative's office and staff; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Wallace previously served as a campaign manager |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | and political director for Representative Larson; in addition, she |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | gained valuable experience as fundraising and outreach director for |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | a San Antonio mayoral campaign and as an account executive for |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | KGBTexas Public Relations/Advertising; she earned her bachelor's |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | degree in government from Angelo State University in 2005 and in |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | 2021, she received her juris doctor degree cum laude from |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | St. Mary's University and passed the bar exam; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | duties as chief of staff with skill and dedication, and she is |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 28 | 29 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Lynlie Wallace for |
