45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Lynlie Wallace has ably served her fellow Texans as
67 chief of staff in the office of State Representative Lyle Larson
78 since 2011; and
89 WHEREAS, During her tenure, Ms. Wallace has researched and
910 analyzed legislation, directed its development, and shepherded
1011 bills through the legislative process; she has overseen the
1112 implementation of a strong constituent outreach plan, and her
1213 numerous responsibilities have further included authoring
1314 correspondence, newsletters, press materials, and bill analyses,
1415 as well as managing the representative's office and staff; and
1516 WHEREAS, Ms. Wallace previously served as a campaign manager
1617 and political director for Representative Larson; in addition, she
1718 gained valuable experience as fundraising and outreach director for
1819 a San Antonio mayoral campaign and as an account executive for
1920 KGBTexas Public Relations/Advertising; she earned her bachelor's
2021 degree in government from Angelo State University in 2005 and in
2122 2021, she received her juris doctor degree cum laude from
2223 St. Mary's University and passed the bar exam; and
2324 WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
2425 duties as chief of staff with skill and dedication, and she is
2526 indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2627 therefore, be it
2728 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2829 Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Lynlie Wallace for
2930 her service as chief of staff in the office of State Representative
3031 Lyle Larson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
3132 success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
3233 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3334 prepared for Ms. Wallace as an expression of high regard by the
3435 Texas House of Representatives.
