| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Roland |

| 6 | 7 | | Dwaine Plaster of Canton, who died on September 26, 2021, at the age |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Luther and Gladys Plaster, "Sonny" |

| 9 | 10 | | Plaster was born in Canton on October 9, 1945, and grew up with five |

| 10 | 11 | | siblings, Bernece, James, Lloyd, Barbara, and Gale; he shared a |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | loving union with his wife, Sandra, and he was the devoted father of |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | three children, Benjamin, Dylan, and the late Heather Marie Plaster |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Stjernstrom; with the passing years, he was further blessed with |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | two granddaughters, Liana and Chloe; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Plaster |

| 16 | 17 | | served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and he remained |

| 17 | 18 | | proud of his military service throughout his life; he went on to a |

| 18 | 19 | | career with TXU Energy, where he was employed for 27 years until his |

| 19 | 20 | | retirement; in his leisure hours, he took pleasure in farming and |

| 20 | 21 | | working on cars, and he also delighted in the time he spent outdoors |

| 21 | 22 | | hunting and enjoying country life; a man of strong religious |

| 22 | 23 | | conviction, he found great solace and inspiration in reading the |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Sonny Plaster was deeply dedicated to his family, |

| 25 | 26 | | his faith, and his country, and he will long be remembered with |

| 26 | 27 | | admiration and affection by all who were fortunate enough to know |
