| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Sedalia Jones Dove is celebrating her 90th birthday |

| 6 | 7 | | on September 23, 2021, to the great delight of her loved ones; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Coolidge to Mary Francis and Ed Jones in |

| 8 | 9 | | 1931, the former Sedalia Jones grew up with six older siblings; she |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | was employed by TRW for three decades until her retirement; and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Dove's fine family has grown to include five |

| 11 | 12 | | children, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, who |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | delight in sharing happy moments with their treasured matriarch, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | going on trips, talking, laughing, and perhaps even getting a slice |

| 14 | 15 | | of her fabulous Sock It To Me Cake; kind and caring, she has also |

| 15 | 16 | | played a maternal role in the lives of many people; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, An avid traveler, Ms. Dove has made countless |

| 17 | 18 | | special memories on visits to her sister, Myrtle Lee Spivey, in |

| 18 | 19 | | Odessa, which she calls her second hometown; the close pair spent |

| 19 | 20 | | considerable time in Mexia as well; Ms. Dove's other favorite |

| 20 | 21 | | activities include shopping and walking her favorite dog, Daisy; |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Dove is sustained by a strong faith; she is a |

| 23 | 24 | | valued member of Park Hills Community Church, which is led by her |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Blessed with a devoted family and admiring friends, |

| 26 | 27 | | Sedalia Dove is a source of joy and inspiration to all who have the |
