| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Hugo Enrique Guevara, a valued member of the Cy-Fair |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A native of California, Hugo Guevara was born to |

| 9 | 10 | | Lourdes Hernandez and Juan Manuel Guevara on June 28, 1990, and he |

| 10 | 11 | | grew up sharing in the companionship of his sister, Lisa; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Guevara first joined the Cy-Fair Fire |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Department in 2009, serving as a volunteer firefighter at Stations |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | 5 and 12 until he became a driver operator for Station 9 in 2020; |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | during his career as a first responder, he also worked in |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Montgomery, Waller, and Katy; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Devoted to his family, Mr. Guevara was the loving |

| 17 | 18 | | father of three children, Ryan, Kyla, and Elijah; his life was |

| 18 | 19 | | further enriched by his passion for music and by his loyal support |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | of the Los Angeles Dodgers; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Hugo Guevara earned the admiration of all who knew |

| 21 | 22 | | him, not only for his dedication as a firefighter but also for his |

| 22 | 23 | | exceptional kindness and generosity, and he leaves behind a record |

| 23 | 24 | | of service that his loved ones can remember with pride; now, |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 26 | 27 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
