| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A caring and purposeful life drew to a close with the |

| 6 | 7 | | passing of Wanda Jo Rankin of Canadian on July 30, 2021, at the age |

| 7 | 8 | | of 83; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The former Wanda White was born in Odessa on August |

| 9 | 10 | | 5, 1937, to Art and Josephine White, and she and her brother, Jim, |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | were raised by their grandparents, David and Posey Wilson; she |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | attended school in Canadian; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, On April 7, 1956, she married James Rankin, with |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | whom she shared a loving union that spanned six and a half decades; |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | she took great pride in their children, Toni, Bo, and Charlie, and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | over the years, she had the pleasure of welcoming into her family 10 |

| 16 | 17 | | grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, While devoting herself to her home and family, |

| 18 | 19 | | Mrs. Rankin contributed immeasurably to her church and to her |

| 19 | 20 | | community of faith; she found joy in helping others, and she |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | enriched the lives of countless people with her encouragement and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | sage advice; in her leisure time, she delighted in gardening and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | working in her yard; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Although Wanda Rankin is greatly missed, memories of |

| 24 | 25 | | her warm and generous nature and her devotion to her loved ones |

| 25 | 26 | | remain to comfort and inspire those she leaves behind; now, |
