| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The 60th birthday of an esteemed Texan is indeed |

| 6 | 7 | | cause for celebration, and Todd Tonore of Mansfield is marking that |

| 7 | 8 | | special milestone on November 6, 2021; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in 1961, Mr. Tonore is a graduate of Northeast |

| 9 | 10 | | Louisiana University, where he earned a degree in business |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | administration; he went on to become the founder and chief |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | executive officer of several businesses, including Southern |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Packaging, Southern Boat and RV Storage, Tonore Real Estate |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Holdings, and El Primo's Mansfield, and he served as vice president |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | of sales for Bancroft Bag for two decades; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Mansfield, Mr. Tonore |

| 16 | 17 | | currently serves as the city council member for Place 6 and as mayor |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | pro tem, and he has held leadership roles with the Mansfield |

| 18 | 19 | | Independent School District Education Foundation and Methodist |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Mansfield Medical Center; he has also helped raise funds for |

| 20 | 21 | | Mansfield Caring Place and has hosted an annual bike drive for area |

| 21 | 22 | | churches; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Tonore enjoys the love and |

| 23 | 24 | | support of his wife, Tonyia, and he takes great pride in their four |

| 24 | 25 | | daughters and three grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, With the passage of another year, Todd Tonore may |

| 26 | 27 | | reflect with pride on his wide-ranging accomplishments and on the |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | many significant contributions he has made in behalf of his fellow |

| 28 | 29 | | citizens; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
