| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Virginia and Robert Lee |

| 7 | 8 | | Martin celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on August |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Martin were joined in matrimony in 1961 |

| 10 | 11 | | at First United Methodist Church in Jacksboro; over the years, they |

| 11 | 12 | | have been blessed with a fine family that includes their two |

| 12 | 13 | | children, Karen and her husband, Mike, and Keith and his wife, |

| 13 | 14 | | Tamara, as well as three grandchildren, Worth, Kayla, and the late |

| 14 | 15 | | Carter Thornton; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Proud alumni of Jacksboro High School, Mr. Martin is |

| 16 | 17 | | a member of the Class of 1960 and Mrs. Martin graduated the |

| 17 | 18 | | following year with the Class of 1961; they both went on to attend |

| 18 | 19 | | Tarleton State University; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Martin have enjoyed six decades of |

| 20 | 21 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |

| 21 | 22 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 22 | 23 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
