| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Logos Preparatory Academy in Sugar Land has been |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program was created |

| 10 | 11 | | by the U.S. Department of Education in 1982 to recognize campuses |

| 11 | 12 | | that have demonstrated superior academic performance or made |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | notable progress in improving outcomes among economically |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | disadvantaged students; Logos Preparatory Academy was one of only |

| 14 | 15 | | 325 public and private schools nationwide and 26 schools in Texas to |

| 15 | 16 | | have earned this impressive honor in 2021, and it is among an elite |

| 16 | 17 | | group of campuses to be selected as an Exemplary High Performing |

|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, One of the largest kindergarten through 12th grade |

| 19 | 20 | | University-Model schools in the nation, Logos Preparatory Academy |

| 20 | 21 | | offers a faith-based learning environment that promotes academic |

| 21 | 22 | | excellence and critical thinking; the campus benefits from the able |

| 22 | 23 | | leadership of its head of school, Tammy McIlvoy, and its |

| 23 | 24 | | principals, Becky Ross, Leah Rabb, and Jason Henderson; and |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Through hard work and perseverance, the teachers and |

| 25 | 26 | | students of Logos Preparatory Academy have established a record of |

| 26 | 27 | | scholastic excellence, and their outstanding efforts have been duly |

| 27 | 28 | | recognized with the Blue Ribbon School award; now, therefore, be it |
