4+ SENATE RESOLUTION
55 WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
66 memories of Jimmy Frank Mosman of Moss Lake, who died on July 6,
77 2021, at the age of 65; and
88 WHEREAS, The son of Leo and Bernadine Mosman, Jimmy Mosman
99 was born in Gainesville on August 10, 1955, and grew up with six
1010 siblings, Bernadette, Gary, Ronald, Gerald, Monica, and
1111 Jeanette; he was joined in matrimony to Barbara Rohmer in 1975,
1212 and the couple shared a rewarding marriage that spanned 45 years;
1313 he was the proud father of three children, Jeanie, Lisa, and
1414 John, and later in life he was pleased to welcome into his family
1515 five grandchildren, Kenlea, Landon, Macey, Luke, and Logan; and
16- WHEREAS, Mr. Mosman graduated from Gainesville High School
17- in three years and earned the Industrial Arts Award; a lifelong
18- farmer and rancher, he also owned and operated a trucking company
19- with his wife for 25 years; he contributed to his community as a
20- member of the Moss Lake Volunteer Fire Department for two
21- decades, including 15 years as chief and 12 years as an EMT
22- instructor, and he served as president of the Cooke County
23- Firefighters Association and as a member of the Gainesville
24- Hospital District Board; a man of strong religious faith, he was
25- an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church; and
16+ WHEREAS, Mr. Mosman graduated from Gainesville High
17+ School in three years and earned the Industrial Arts Award; a
18+ lifelong farmer and rancher, he also owned and operated a
19+ trucking company with his wife for 25 years; he contributed to
20+ his community as a member of the Moss Lake Volunteer Fire
21+ Department for two decades, including 15 years as chief and 12

2627 WHEREAS, Jimmy Mosman lived a life that was rich in
2728 personal and professional achievements, and he leaves behind a
2829 legacy of service to others that will continue to inspire all
2930 those who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be it
30- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
31- Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
32- of Jimmy Frank Mosman and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family
33- and many friends; and, be it further
