| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | memories of Kay Saxon Moseley, who passed away on June 21, 2021, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | at the age of 74; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Aubrey and Minnie Saxon, the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | former Kay Saxon was born in Marshall on January 9, 1947; she |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | graduated from Marshall High School, where she was a member of |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the Marshall Mavettes drill team; in 1966, she married her high |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | school sweetheart, Bailey Moseley, and the couple went on to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | share a rewarding union that spanned 54 years; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Moseley was the proud mother of two children, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Chris and Meredith, and with the passing years, she was further |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | blessed with three granddaughters, Saxon, Samantha, and Bailey; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | she treasured the time spent with her family above all else; a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | woman of strong faith, she was a valued congregant of Cypress |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Valley Bible Church; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Kay Moseley led a life of caring devotion to her |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | loved ones, and although she is deeply missed, her spirit will |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | forever live on in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | of Kay Saxon Moseley and extend sincere condolences to the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | members of her family: to her husband, Bailey C. Moseley; to her |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | son, Chris Moseley; to her daughter, Meredith Moseley-Bennett |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | and her husband, Jamie; to her granddaughters, Saxon and Samantha |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Moseley and Bailey Bennett; to her brother- and sister-in-law, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Sam and Kay Moseley; to her nieces and nephews, Woody, Kiki, |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | Brad, Madison, and Karis Moseley; and to her other relatives and |
