The bill would amend provisions of Transportation Code, Section 201.051, relating to the required qualifications for persons appointed to the Texas Transportation Commission by the Governor.  Based on the information provided by the Office of the Governor and the Department of Transportation, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
