| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 34.002(e), Health and Safety Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (e) A member of the review committee appointed under | |
| 13 | 13 | Subsection (b)(1) is not entitled to compensation for service on | |
| 14 | 14 | the review committee, but may receive [or] reimbursement from the | |
| 15 | 15 | department as provided by Section 2110.004, Government Code, for | |
| 16 | 16 | travel [or other] expenses incurred by the member while conducting | |
| 17 | 17 | the business of the review committee. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
