| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, |

| 11 | 11 | | is amended by adding Section 504.517 to read as follows: |

| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 504.517. YVONNE A. EWELL TOWNVIEW MAGNET CENTER |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | LICENSE PLATES. (a) The department shall issue specialty license |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | plates for alumni and faculty of and students and parents of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | students attending the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the city of Dallas. The license plates must include the words |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | "Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center" and the Yvonne A. Ewell |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Townview Magnet Center's logo. |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (b) The fee for issuance of the license plates may not |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | exceed the administrative costs incurred by the department in the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | issuance of the license plates. |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
