55 relating to the adoption of physical fitness programs and standards

88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Section 614.171(1), Government Code, is amended
1010 to read as follows:
1111 (1) "Law enforcement agency" means the Department of
1212 Public Safety, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Texas
1313 Department of Criminal Justice, [and] Parks and Wildlife
1414 Department, and the office of the attorney general.
1515 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1616 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
1717 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
1818 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
1919 Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
