| 6 | 6 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 7 | 7 | | SECTION 1. Article 103.009, Code of Criminal Procedure, is |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | (e) An officer who has been provided a computerized case and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | financial management system by the county shall: |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | (1) maintain the information described by Subsection |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | (a) in the system; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (2) provide the complete computerized fee record in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | hard-copy form for purposes of satisfying the requirements of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Article 103.001. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
