| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 14.05(c), Alcoholic Beverage Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (c) The holder of a distiller's and rectifier's permit may | |
| 13 | 13 | not under Subsection (b) sell more than the greater of: | |
| 14 | 14 | (1) six [two] 750 milliliter bottles of distilled | |
| 15 | 15 | spirits or the equivalent to the same consumer within a 30-day | |
| 16 | 16 | period; or | |
| 17 | 17 | (2) if there is a limit on the number of bottles of | |
| 18 | 18 | distilled spirits a package store permit holder may sell to the same | |
| 19 | 19 | consumer within a 30-day period, one-third of that limit. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
