| 12 | 12 | Sec. 263.101. APPLICATION OF SUBCHAPTER TO POPULOUS | |
| 13 | 13 | COUNTIES. This subchapter applies only to: | |
| 14 | 14 | (1) a county with a population of more than 1.3 | |
| 15 | 15 | million; and | |
| 16 | 16 | (2) a county with a population of more than 800,000 | |
| 17 | 17 | that is adjacent to a county with a population of more than 3.3 | |
| 18 | 18 | million. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
