| 8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 11.1513, Education Code, is amended by | |
| 10 | 10 | adding Subsection (i-1) to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (i-1) The employment policy must include anti-bullying | |
| 12 | 12 | measures to address bullying in the workplace, including provisions | |
| 13 | 13 | to address the bullying of a teacher by a parent. | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 15 | 15 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 16 | 16 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 17 | 17 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 18 | 18 | Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
