55 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
66 AN ACT
77 relating to addressing workplace bullying in school districts.
88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Section 11.1513, Education Code, is amended by
1010 adding Subsection (i-1) to read as follows:
1111 (i-1) The employment policy must include anti-bullying
1212 measures to address bullying in the workplace, including provisions
1313 to address the bullying of a teacher by a parent.
1414 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1515 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
1616 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
1717 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
1818 Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
