A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the storage of wine by a winery.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 16.11, Alcoholic Beverage Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
(c) The holder of a winery permit shall register with the
commission each warehouse used by the permit holder to store wine.
The commission by rule shall determine the information that is
required to register a warehouse under this subsection.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
