| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | is amended by adding Section 504.517 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Sec. 504.517. INDUSTRIAL FIREFIGHTERS. (a) The department |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | shall design and issue specialty license plates for industrial |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | firefighters certified by the State Firefighters' and Fire |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Marshals' Association of Texas. |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (b) The fee for issuance of the license plates is $30. |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (c) A person may be issued not more than three sets of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | license plates. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
