| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 547.702, Transportation Code, is amended |

| 9 | 9 | | by adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows: |

| 10 | 10 | | (c-1) An authorized emergency vehicle may be equipped with |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | signal lamps that display alternating or flashing white lights that |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | comply with the requirements of Subsections (c)(1) and (3). |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
