| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 547.306(b), Transportation Code, is |

| 9 | 9 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | (b) A person may operate a motorcycle or moped equipped with |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | LED ground effect lighting only if the lighting [that] emits a |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | non-flashing amber or white light, and no other type of light. |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
