It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactThe fiscal implications to units of local government cannot be determined because the number of permits required by a commissioners court for which a fee was paid that would no longer either be collected from existing slaughterers or required of new slaughterers is unknown. No significant fiscal impact is anticipated for the local court system and units of local government from repealing the Class C misdemeanor for slaughterer violations.
