| 6 | 6 | | Internet agendas for meetings under the open meetings law. |

| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 551.056(b), Government Code, is amended |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | (b) In addition to the other place at which notice or an |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | agenda of a meeting is required to be posted by this subchapter, the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | following governmental bodies and economic development |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | corporations must also concurrently post notice of a meeting and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | the agenda for the meeting on the Internet website of the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | governmental body or economic development corporation: |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (1) a municipality; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (2) a county; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | (3) a school district; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (4) the governing body of a junior college or junior |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | college district, including a college or district that has changed |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | its name in accordance with Chapter 130, Education Code; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (5) a development corporation organized under the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Development Corporation Act (Subtitle C1, Title 12, Local |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Government Code); |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (6) a regional mobility authority included within the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | meaning of an "authority" as defined by Section 370.003, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Transportation Code; [and] |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | (7) a joint board created under Section 22.074, |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Transportation Code; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | (8) a district or authority created under Section 52, |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | Article III, or Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution. |

| 32 | 32 | | SECTION 2. Section 551.056(c), Government Code, is |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | repealed. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | SECTION 3. Section 551.056(b), Government Code, as amended |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | by this Act, applies only to an open meeting held on or after the |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | effective date of this Act. |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
