                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 88TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             May 22, 2023       TO: Honorable Dade Phelan, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB357 by Bucy (Relating to the requirements to access the online tracker of an application for a ballot to be voted by mail.), As Passed 2nd House     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would modify certain authentication requirements used in the Ballot by Mail Tracker administered by the agency.  It is assumed any required modifications to this system could be completed with existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
