| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 322.0081(a), Government Code, is amended |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | to read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (a) The board shall post on the board's Internet website |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | documents prepared by the board, and all supporting documents and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | work product used to create the documents, that are provided to a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | committee, subcommittee, or conference committee of either house of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the legislature in connection with an appropriations bill. |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | to documents provided to a committee, subcommittee, or conference |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | committee on or after the effective date of this Act. |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
