| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 91, Natural Resources |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Code, is amended by adding Section 91.1018 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Sec. 91.1018. VERIFICATION AND DISCLOSURE OF CONTENT OF OIL |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | AND GAS WASTE. (a) The commission by rule shall require the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | operator of a commercial oil and gas waste disposal facility that |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | receives oil and gas waste for storage or disposal to: |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (1) verify the contents of that waste before receiving |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the waste; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (2) provide to the commission a list of the fluids and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | materials stored or disposed of at the facility. |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (b) The commission shall: |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (1) adopt a standard reporting form to be used for the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | purposes of this section; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (2) post lists received under this section on the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | commission's Internet website. |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2024. |
