The bill would amend provisions of Occupations Code, Chapter 2301, relating to compensation owed to a motor vehicle dealer for certain warranty, recall, preparation, and delivery work. The bill would establish a process for manufacturers, distributors, and dealers to dispute a dealer's compensation claims.Based on the information provided by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State.
