66 AN ACT
77 relating to the college, career, or military readiness outcomes
88 bonus under the Foundation School Program.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 48.110(d), Education Code, is amended to
1111 read as follows:
1212 (d) For each annual graduate in a cohort described by
1313 Subsection (b) who demonstrates college, career, or military
1414 readiness as described by Subsection (f) in excess of the minimum
1515 number of students determined for the applicable district cohort
1616 under Subsection (c), a school district is entitled to an annual
1717 outcomes bonus of:
1818 (1) if the annual graduate is educationally
1919 disadvantaged, $5,000;
2020 (2) if the annual graduate is not educationally
2121 disadvantaged, $3,000; and
2222 (3) if the annual graduate is enrolled in a special
2323 education program under Subchapter A, Chapter 29, $4,000 [$2,000],
2424 regardless of whether the annual graduate is educationally
2525 disadvantaged.
2626 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
