| 7 | 7 | | relating to the dissolution of the Rockwall County Municipal |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Utility District No. 10. |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. (a) The directors of the Rockwall County |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Municipal Utility District No. 10 shall wind up the affairs of the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | district, including the filing of any dissolution documents with |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (b) On the 60th day after the effective date of this Act: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (1) the Rockwall County Municipal Utility District |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | No. 10 is dissolved; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (2) the terms of the directors of the district expire. |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Government Code. |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Environmental Quality. |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor, the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | lieutenant governor, and the speaker of the house of |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | representatives within the required time. |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | (d) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act are fulfilled |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | and accomplished. |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
