| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 152.1811(a), Human Resources Code, is |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | (a) The juvenile board of Navarro County is composed of the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | county judge, the district judges in Navarro County, the judges of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | the county courts at law in the county, and the criminal district |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | attorney. The juvenile board may appoint five public members to |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | serve on the board without salary for a term determined by the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | board. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
