| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 502.433(d), Transportation Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (d) The department shall provide distinguishing license | |
| 13 | 13 | plates for a vehicle registered under this section. The department | |
| 14 | 14 | shall provide a person who registers a vehicle under this section | |
| 15 | 15 | the option of being issued a distinguishing license plate that | |
| 16 | 16 | includes the text "Farm Vehicle" or "Ranch Vehicle". | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
