| 11 | 12 | | liaison for the Midland Development Corporation; she is also a |

| 12 | 13 | | member of Congressman August Pfluger's Energy Task Force and the |

| 13 | 14 | | Permian Basin Petroleum Association board, and she is a founding |

| 14 | 15 | | member of the Midland Quality of Place Conservancy; in addition, |

| 15 | 16 | | she is a former president of Midland Habitat for Humanity, which she |

| 16 | 17 | | continues to serve as a member of the board of directors; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Early in her career, Mayor Blong taught social |

| 18 | 19 | | studies at Coronado High School in El Paso; she went on to cofound |

| 19 | 20 | | Octane Energy with her husband, Jared, in 2013, and today, she is |

| 20 | 21 | | responsible for negotiations, administrative oversight, and |

| 21 | 22 | | financial management; she holds a bachelor's degree in psychology |

| 22 | 23 | | from Hardin-Simmons University as well as postgraduate teacher |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mayor Blong benefits from the |

| 25 | 26 | | love and support of her husband, Jared, and she takes great pride in |

| 26 | 27 | | their three children; she is a devoted congregant of Stonegate |

| 27 | 28 | | Fellowship church, where she also teaches Bible studies; and |
