88 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Article I, Texas Constitution, is amended by
1010 adding Section 36 to read as follows:
1111 Sec. 36. An individual has the unalienable and natural
1212 right to refuse a vaccination. The vaccination status of an
1313 individual may not be made a condition of employment, travel,
1414 school or other educational institution attendance, conducting
1515 business, receiving medical treatment, receiving governmental
1616 services, or any other action in this state.
1717 SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be
1818 submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 7, 2023.
1919 The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the
2020 proposition: "The constitutional amendment recognizing the right
2121 of an individual to refuse a vaccination."
