| 11 | 11 | Sec. 36. The liberty of a parent to direct the upbringing of | |
| 12 | 12 | the parent's child is a fundamental right. This right includes the | |
| 13 | 13 | right to direct the care, custody, control, education, moral and | |
| 14 | 14 | religious training, and medical care of the child. | |
| 15 | 15 | SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be | |
| 16 | 16 | submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 7, 2023. | |
| 17 | 17 | The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the | |
| 18 | 18 | proposition: "The constitutional amendment establishing the | |
