| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, For a decade, Carrie J. Quinn has worked tirelessly |

| 6 | 6 | | to build a solid educational foundation for the students of Nichols |

| 7 | 7 | | Sawmill Elementary School in the Magnolia Independent School |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | District; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Currently serving as principal, Mrs. Quinn has been |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | an administrator at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School for 10 years, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and over the course of her exemplary tenure, she has distinguished |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | herself through her unwavering dedication to helping her students |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | reach their full potential and become engaged and productive |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | members of their community; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of two educators, Mrs. Quinn began her |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | career as an elementary school teacher, and she taught several |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | primary grades, including fourth grade reading/language arts; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | after attending Texas A&M University, she spent two years in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Nashville and worked at WSIX radio station on Music Row; in all her |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her husband and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | their two sons; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and Magnolia ISD |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | have benefited immeasurably from Carrie Quinn's leadership, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | professionalism, and commitment to excellence, and she has earned |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | the admiration and appreciation of her colleagues and students; |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Legislature hereby commend Carrie J. Quinn for her 10 years of |

| 29 | 29 | | service to Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and extend to her |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
