44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, For a decade, Carrie J. Quinn has worked tirelessly
66 to build a solid educational foundation for the students of Nichols
77 Sawmill Elementary School in the Magnolia Independent School
88 District; and
99 WHEREAS, Currently serving as principal, Mrs. Quinn has been
1010 an administrator at Nichols Sawmill Elementary School for 10 years,
1111 and over the course of her exemplary tenure, she has distinguished
1212 herself through her unwavering dedication to helping her students
1313 reach their full potential and become engaged and productive
1414 members of their community; and
1515 WHEREAS, The daughter of two educators, Mrs. Quinn began her
1616 career as an elementary school teacher, and she taught several
1717 primary grades, including fourth grade reading/language arts;
1818 after attending Texas A&M University, she spent two years in
1919 Nashville and worked at WSIX radio station on Music Row; in all her
2020 endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her husband and
2121 their two sons; and
2222 WHEREAS, Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and Magnolia ISD
2323 have benefited immeasurably from Carrie Quinn's leadership,
2424 professionalism, and commitment to excellence, and she has earned
2525 the admiration and appreciation of her colleagues and students;
2626 now, therefore, be it
2727 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2828 Legislature hereby commend Carrie J. Quinn for her 10 years of
2929 service to Nichols Sawmill Elementary School and extend to her
3030 sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
3131 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3232 prepared for Mrs. Quinn as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3333 House of Representatives.
