| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has demonstrated an outstanding work |

| 11 | 11 | | legislative intern, embodying the values of our office and |

|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has shown exceptional dedication to |

| 14 | 14 | | her education by pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration |

| 15 | 15 | | with a major in Marketing and a minor in Real Estate from The |

| 16 | 16 | | University of Texas at Austin, which will be conferred in December |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has gained valuable experience |

| 19 | 19 | | through her work as a Student Marketing Assistant and Student |

| 20 | 20 | | Assistant for McCombs Development and External Relations Team, as a |

| 21 | 21 | | Student Consultant for the Office of the Vice President for Student |

| 22 | 22 | | Affairs, as a Choreographer for D&A Quince's, and as an Event |

| 23 | 23 | | Commissioner for Castle Event Center; and |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has exhibited outstanding leadership |

| 25 | 25 | | skills and commitment to her community through her involvement in |

| 26 | 26 | | organizations such as RGV Familia, the McCombs Leadership Program, |

| 27 | 27 | | the Undergraduate Dean's Student Advisory Council, Delta Sigma Pi, |

| 28 | 28 | | the Undergraduate Business Council, and the BBA Women's Council; |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Abigail Castro has been recognized for her academic |

| 32 | 32 | | Scholar, Melinda and Mike Lafitte Endowed Scholarship in Real |

| 33 | 33 | | Estate, Dr. Pablo and Teresa Rhi-Perez Endowed Scholarship in |
