| 10 | 10 | | with a perfect record of 14-0 against league opponents; continuing |

| 11 | 11 | | to excel in the playoffs, the Bulldogs dispatched Shepherd, Diboll, |

| 12 | 12 | | Orangefield, Lorena, and New Waverly High Schools to earn the |

| 13 | 13 | | school's fourth state tournament appearance; with a 69-36 blowout |

| 14 | 14 | | victory against Hooks High School in the semifinals, the team |

| 21 | 21 | | the fourth quarter, the team erupted on offense, going on a 14-3 run |

| 22 | 22 | | to seal the outcome; emerging triumphant by the final score of |

| 23 | 23 | | 68-45, the Bulldogs claimed the program's inaugural state |

| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Hitchcock was led by Championship Game Most Valuable |
